For my senior thesis in my undergrad program, I set out to explore my fascination with vintage food photography and recipes to create a surreal world of fantastical food through painting, sculpting, photography and poetry. Through doing so I was able to explore the ways that food is sometimes more sign and symbol than sustenance and explore my own relationship to chronic illness and consumption.
